Integrity is our goal; Compassion is our soul

Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west. {6} I will say to the north, 'Give them up!' and to the south, 'Do not hold them back.' Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth-- {7} everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made." Isaiah 43:5-7

Council on Accreditation Hague Accredited, February 2008

The Open Way Adoptions, Inc. is a COA Hague accredited, licensed, and non-profit organization, under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.  For more information on what it means to be Hague accredited, please visit our HAGUE INFO section of the website.  We are also a licensed child placing agency in the state of Washington. We are dedicated to providing an adoption experience based in integrity, honesty, and truth.   TOWA is also a JCICS member.

We strive to keep an open process that promotes communication.  Having gone through the adoption experience ourselves, we know what it is like to be on the other end of the rope.  The waiting game can be hard.

We intend to ease the wait time by providing an open experience where the adoptive parents feel like they are part of the process.  We encourage visits and communication with the foster care providers during the adoption.  With a fully bilingual director and Executive Assistant, we provide translation services to ensure you get accurate information and answers to your questions.

Our staff is family to us.  They are experienced facilitators, attorneys, and foster parents who will provide care for your child during your process. In our quest to have you be as much a part  of the process as possible, we can have you foster your own child in the Guatemala program while the process is completed.  Our Dominican Republic based staff is very responsible and competent.  We are very excited to be providing services in countries dear to our hearts and that have so many children in need of homes and permanent families.

NEWSFLASH! May, 2008: We are finally seeking accreditation in Colombia. Two of our board members have long standing ties with the country and it is a stable program we have long wanted to establish. God willing, we expect to have accreditation by the fall. We will be updating our informational materials, website, and application, so keep checking; these should be available by mid summer!

No one can guarantee a perfect adoption process, but you can rest assured we will be there to hold your hand through it.  When you o p e n   t h e   w a y for a child to come to you, there are many alternatives as far as who to work with.  Thank You for considering us, and we look forward to hearing from you!

We currently have waiting children in need of a loving home.
