We know the financial commitment when you choose adoption is a huge part of the decision process. Our fees are kept surprisingly reasonable. We charge a small application fee. We only work with country contacts who know our mission, and who are willing to charge reasonable fees for their work.
If you are interested in a particular waiting child, we ask you to please contact us at info@towa.us. You will receive an initial program description along with a fee disclosure, and our application.
Fees for children older than three are lower than those for infants. Sibling groups have a discounted fee. We will never consider separating sibling groups when it is under our control. Our first priority is the placement of the children in permanent, qualified homes. This is done to promote adoption of older children as well as sibling groups who may otherwise not be considered.
We believe every child deserves an opportunity to have a permanent loving home, regardless of race, age, or sex. No child should be without a home!
You will be quoted the estimated total amount for the complete adoption processing of a child or sibling group. There is NO separate agency, attorney or facilitator fee. The fee is all inclusive, except from the additional expenses normally incurred in adoptions from Guatemala and the Dominican Republic, which will vary from state to state.
Example expenses you should budget for, regarldess of which agency you choose:
- International Home Study
- USCIS fees
- medical exams required by the U.S. Consulate
- fingerprint and background checks
- documents for dossier
- DHL or FedEx shipping fees
- airfare and travel expenses for both parents and the adopted child
- accommodations and food while in the country
- re-adoption in the U.S. whenever applicable
- tips, gifts, notaries, taxes, etc...
